GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RULES OF RENTAL

  1. PRICE CONDITIONS.

All prices include VAT at the current rate. In the event of a change in the VAT rate, prices will be modified.

The tax on stays in tourist establishments of Catalonia (DOGC Nº.6094 23-3-2012 and LAW 5/2017, of March 28) is not included in the price. The rate is *€1.10 per person per day, with a limit of 7 days’ stay per person. Children are subject to the tax from the age of 17.

Prices include sleeping in a fully equipped, furnished apartment, WiFi, sheets, towels, and heating up to 23ºC, except in summer when heating is not included.  If you would like heating in summer, a supplement of €15 per day will be charged.

The price per apartment varies according to the number of people occupying the apartment. The maximum capacity indicated for each apartment may not be exceeded. When renting apartments, the client is fully and exclusively responsible for correctly declaring the number of people staying in the apartment, without the omission of children of any age. It is strictly forbidden to admit additional adults or children of any age.

When the apartment is rented for a period, the total amount of the booking will be invoiced and, in the event that the client arrives late or leaves early, the days the apartment is left unoccupied will be charged to the client.

The minimum stay in the apartments is 2 nights.

  1. PAYMENT OF THE DEPOSIT.

A €120 deposit per apartment per stay is requested as a guarantee for any possible damage or the final state of cleanliness of the accommodation. This deposit will be returned two days after departure, after the apartment has been properly checked by the staff of La Peguera Apartments. The deposit must be paid by credit card 2 days prior to arrival. The deposit will be returned 2 days after the day of departure, once the apartment has been checked and provided La Peguera staff have not found any damage or loss in the furniture. Otherwise, the management at La Peguera will evaluate the damage. The apartment must be left in the same clean and tidy state as it was delivered, with clean kitchen utensils and garbage taken out and left in the designated waste bins. Otherwise, a €50 cleaning fee will be deducted from the deposit or your credit card will be charged.

Please check that everything is correct on the day of arrival. Any anomaly observed by the client must be reported to the company immediately, since no complaints will be accepted once the stay is over.

  1. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES.

Check-in time in the apartments is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Management reserves the right to advance or delay the check-in time depending on occupancy and unforeseen events that may arise.

Check-out time is at 10:00 a.m. In the event of a later departure, an extra day will be charged. This check-out schedule allows us to ensure that the apartment is clean and disinfected.

If you wish to leave outside reception hours, please let us know at least one day beforehand.

  1. SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR CHILDREN

Cribs, bathtubs, and high chairs for infants up to 2 years old can be provided subject to availability and prior reservation. The price of the crib is €5 per stay. Bedding for cribs is not available.  Children up to 2 years old stay free of charge, but this only applies to one child per apartment.

  1. CONDITIONS DURING YOUR STAY 

Smoking is not allowed. Smoke-free apartments.

Be respectful towards the facilities, trees, and plants in the garden, and do not to disturb the neighbors. Do not waste water or energy. Dispose of garbage in tightly closed bags, leaving it in the designated waste bins. Silence is requested from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.

Visits by friends and relatives of guests staying in the apartments are not allowed.

Each apartment is clean and furnished with bed linen, towels, crockery, and glassware appropriate to the number of beds.

  1. SAFETY AND SECURITY

Avoid any act or action that involves danger. To increase security, close the windows and lock the door when you leave the apartments. To avoid damage to the delicate window shutters, it is not permitted to tamper with them. These shutters may only be altered by staff.

The property management is not responsible for any valuables inside the apartments. The management reserves the right to check the apartment occupied by you whenever it is deemed appropriate due to security circumstances or damage.

  1. PETS

Dogs are allowed in some apartments, but not in all of them. You should always communicate at the time of booking if you will be traveling with pets, since they are not permitted in some of the accommodation. Our conditions for allowing pets are:

  • One dog per apartment.
  • Breed or mixture of breeds that are not considered dangerous.
  • Older than 1 year.
  • Vaccinated and dewormed, with up-to-date records.
  • Medium or small size.
  • The pet may not be left alone in the apartment at any time.
  • Dogs must always be led “by means of a chain and a leash that allows them to be kept under control”, both in public and private spaces of common use. That is to say, they should not be off the leash in the street or in the entrance to the building.
  • There is a supplement per dog depending on the number of nights.
  1. VEHICLE CONDITIONS

The price includes one parking space per apartment, i.e. one vehicle. If you wish to bring another vehicle, a €15 surcharge will be charged per car per day.  In the event that no parking spaces are available, vehicles will be parked outside the La Peguera property.

By booking an apartment at Apartaments La Peguera, the client acknowledges and agrees to these rules and conditions of booking and cancellation for the apartments, as well as the Regulations of the Directorate General of Tourism of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Management reserves the right to refuse admission and may force those who violate the rules of good manners and social coexistence set forth in these regulations to leave the premises.
